We need your help!

We need volunteers to help with all the facets of putting on this live show, both in the planning and on the day of the event!

Have you volunteered to help out on a Bound for Glory show in the past? We need you one more time! If you haven’t been able to in the past–now is your chance!

All the performers who have graced our stage (from the world-traveling veterans to those who have started their career doing a BFG show) and all the audience members and volunteers that have made the space at Anabel Taylor Hall such a special place for over a half century are parts of what has made this little show called “WVBR’s Bound for Glory” North America’s longest-running folk music broadcast. Help us show our appreciation to the work that Phil Shapiro has done through his little Sunday night radio show for each of us, and for the folk music world, for the past 50+ years.

We need volunteers to help with planning, helping with the front and back of the house, arranging food for the performers and volunteers, housing for performers who need a place to stay overnight, scheduling, setting up and running the merchandise tables, and many other tasks.

If you might be interested in helping, please contact Jim Harper, President of the Friends of Bound for Glory, at jharper@jimharpermusic.com

North America's longest-running live folk concert broadcast. Sunday nights on WVBR 93.5 FM, 8-11 pm EST.
